With Christmas just around the corner, what better way to ring in the holiday spirit than with all the festive activities happening nationwide?
During the holiday season, Singapore never fails to fully embrace the festive cheer, with a vast range of festivities taking place from east to west.
From experiencing a winter wonderland at Snow City to Gardens by the Bay’s iconic Christmas Wonderland installation, here are the top 7 places to bring the entire family together this holiday season!
7 Places To Bring The Family & Kids For Christmas
1. Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay has become a much-awaited yearly affair. Now onto its 11th edition this year, Singapore’s biggest Christmas fair is back and bigger than ever.
From the myriad of light displays, festive performances from local artists, and Christmas-themed booths for holiday shopping, all the way to the rides and games, there’s bound to be something for everyone.
But the real star of the show, just like how it is every year, is none other than the iconic 20-metre-tall Spalliera light display inspired by Italian Gothic architecture. To top it all off, visitors can enjoy ‘Blizzard Time’ and experience snowfall right in the heart of Gardens by the Bay.

2. Orchard Road Christmas Light-Up
During the Christmas season, Singapore’s most iconic shopping street comes alive.
The Orchard Road Christmas Light-Up has been a yearly tradition since 1984 and is one of the most highly anticipated events each year by both locals and visitors alike. You can expect to see all sorts of twinkling light installations and Christmas ornaments lavishly decorated throughout the entire street!
This vibrant spectacle is entirely free of charge and stretches from Tanglin Road all the way to Dhoby Ghaut. While this two-mile stretch may seem long, trust us when we say the scenic route is truly worth taking.
But if you really want the best views of this iconic Christmas light-up, ride a double-decker bus that will take you through Orchard Road, where you can see the lights from an entirely different bird’s-eye view.
